Topics include the importance of research to the institution's mission, research culture, research publicity and tech transfer. The 2005 survey of research magazines is available on the resources page. New magazines launched in 2003 The University of Puerto Rico is launching its first research magazine, Inventio. The inaugural issue is due in March 2004. It is a bilingual magazine focusing on the research, service, and creative activity at the Río Piedras campus. Suzanna Engman will be the English editor and Javier Ortiz Román will be the Spanish editor. Whitehead Institute launched a new research magazine in October 2003. Paradigm will be published twice a year for a diverse audience of 10,000. Kelli Whitlock is editor and Will Cook is the senior designer. |
